The State Board of Elections compiles a database of voter registration information
provided by the 110 Illinois election jurisdictions.
Illinois counties (and 8 cities) submit data to the Board electronically on a regular basis,
usually nightly.
Voter data is available to registered political committees for bonafide political
purposes. Use for commercial solicitation or other business purposes is prohibited.
(Chapter 10 ILCS 5/4-8, 5-7, and 6-35, Illinois Compiled Statutes).
Files of computerized voter registration data are available on DVD or CD-ROM.
The Board offers two file formats that are tailored to the information needs and
processing capabilities of those requesting voter data.
Please note: The Board provides files of voter data; the Board does not provide software to process voter data.
