Springfield, Illinois, July 1, 2005 - The Illinois State Board
of Elections will conduct its July monthly Board meeting on Friday, July 1,
2005 in Springfield, IL.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Board’s
Springfield
office located at
1020 South Spring
Street,
Springfield,
Illinois.
As required by state law, the Board will elect a new chairman and vice
chairman for the two-year term beginning July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2007.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing regarding Certification of
Electronic Voting Systems Rules; a HAVA update; consideration of a data sharing
agreement with the Illinois Department of Corrections; legislative update; and
consideration of campaign disclosure complaints and appeals.
The Board may recess into executive session to consider litigation
and/or personnel matters.
