Member of the State Board of Elections from 1987-1990 and returning in April 2001; Chairman 2001-2005. Mr. Keith graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University and from the Baylor University School of Law. He presently practices law through Keith Law Office in Springfield. He has previously served as the legal counsel to the Illinois Redistricting Commission, the Illinois State Senate, the Illinois State Treasurer and other governmental agencies, and has also served as an Associate Circuit Judge and a member of the Illinois House of Representatives. He is past President and member of the Sangamon County Bar Association and a member and past Assembly member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
